Every now and then, and specially during school breaks, Ritu's Nest launches a wide variety of new courses.
GEMS
A thematic workshop to help children explore Science topics to deduce why things happen the way they do on their own through hands on experiments and integrate the theme with Math concepts and English skills of LSRW. Added are life skills activities in a fun way.
Reading Room
In the book review course, students learn the read and write more efficiently. They practice these through activities like role play reading, stop and predict, develop characters and settings etc. they also practice both quiet and loud reading.
Creative Writing
Creative Writing is a competency and skill that is very important throughout our lives. We’ll all be required to prepare notes and memos, present papers, draft strategies and other official papers as part of our future jobs. Creative Writing is and should be our own expression of thoughts, feelings and emotions rather than just conveying information. Through the various techniques that are taught, every participant improves their writing skills and develops interest in English writing.
YOUNG LEADERSHIP
Every child has an inherent talent for leadership. With support and encouragement from an early age, these skills can be developed and enhanced. Through a mix of innovative exercises, interactive group sessions and outdoor games, children are encouraged to focus on improving communication, developing a personal identity, teamwork, art of give and take, planning and doing. They are encouraged to think of things which they can make happen, rather than things happening to them.
